Skin Tag Removal using Cryopen - In Clinic Appointment

Initial Consultation and removal of up to 4 skin tags / lesions. Additional skin tags / lesions are charged at £5 each.

Cryopen Skin tag removal is a fast, precise, and non-invasive procedure using extreme cold (-89°C) nitrous oxide to destroy benign lesions. It is highly effective, often taking just seconds, with little to no pain, no anesthesia required, and minimal downtime. Skin tags typically fall off within 14 days.

Key Details of CryoPen Treatment:

Procedure: A fine, high-pressure jet of nitrous oxide is applied to the tag, freezing the tissue and cutting off blood supply.

Comfort & Safety: The treatment is generally painless (often described as a stinging sensation). It is safe for delicate areas and uses millimetre precision, protecting surrounding healthy skin.

Side Effects: The area may turn red or form a small scab during the healing process.

Healing Time: Full recovery usually takes 4–6 weeks, though the tag falls off much sooner.

Post-Treatment Advice:

Skin Care: It is essential to apply sunscreen (SPF 50+) to treated areas to prevent hyperpigmentation.

Expectations: Most skin tags are removed in one session.
